Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Schoolagam and get live answers about attendance, fees, students and reports — securely, and only for your school.
Illustration with sample data.
What you can ask
“Give me today's school overview — students, attendance and fees.”
“Which fees are overdue? Summarise by status in rupees.”
“Find Arjun in Class 6 and show his profile and fee status.”
“Search our knowledge base for the uniform policy.”
“Review the student import I uploaded and tell me what's wrong.”
“Draft a notice to parents about Friday's holiday, then send it after I approve.”
How it works
In your dashboard open AI Assistant (MCP) and create a key for each person or app.
Paste the server address and key into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code — copy-ready setup is shown with the key.
Ask in plain English. Your assistant calls Schoolagam for live numbers and explains them.
Built-in tools
Each one works on live data from your school. Read-only tools answer questions; the two that change data are clearly marked so your assistant checks with you first.
get_school_overviewStudents, classrooms, attendance rate and fee collection at a glance.
search_studentsFind students by name, roll number, parent, class or section.
get_student_profileOne student's class, section, roll number and fee status.
get_class_analyticsStudents per class and section, with last week's attendance.
get_fee_summaryFee counts and rupee totals by status, plus overdue fees.
generate_school_reportSummary, 30-day attendance, fees or performance reports.
search_knowledge_baseAnswers from your school's own study material, FAQs and policies.
review_bulk_import_jobCheck an uploaded Excel/CSV import before it runs.
execute_bulk_import_jobRun a reviewed import — changes data, so your assistant asks first.
send_notificationSend an in-app notice to a role — reaches people, so your assistant asks first.
A key can only ever reach its own school — never another school's data.
We keep only a fingerprint of each key. Revoke any key instantly.
Access stops on its own if the plan lapses or AI is switched off.
Tools that send notices or import data are marked so assistants confirm with you first.
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools and data from other apps. Schoolagam runs an MCP server, so any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can work with your school's live data.
Every paid plan with AI — Starter, Professional and Enterprise — for verified schools. School admins and principals create the keys.
No. The thinking happens in your own assistant; Schoolagam only answers its data requests, so connector calls don't use your plan's AI allowance.
Only what it asks Schoolagam for while answering you — for example a fee summary — and only for your school. It reaches your assistant provider under your own account with them.
Yes. Revoke a key and the assistant using it loses access on its very next request.
