- You can cancel any paid plan at any time.
- We refund the unused part of your current billing period, calculated by the day.
- Nothing is charged during a free trial, so there is nothing to refund if you cancel before it ends.
- Duplicate or failed payments are refunded in full.
2.How to cancel
A school administrator can cancel from Settings → Plan in the Schoolagam dashboard (for autopay plans, switch autopay off there), or by emailing support@schoolagam.in from the school's registered email address. The cancellation date is the day we receive the request.
3.How the pro-rata refund is calculated
For school plans and module add-ons, the refund is the amount you paid for the current billing period, multiplied by the number of unused days left in that period, divided by the total days in the period.
Example: a school pays ₹17,988 for a yearly plan and cancels after 73 days. 292 of the 365 days are unused, so the refund is ₹17,988 × 292 ÷ 365 = ₹14,390 (rounded to the nearest rupee).
Any discount you received is taken into account, because the calculation uses the amount you actually paid. After cancellation the school keeps its data and moves to the Free plan or read-only access, and can export its data at any time.
4.Usage credits and top-ups
Prepaid usage — SMS wallet balance and AI credits — pays for messages and AI requests as they are used, so used credits cannot be refunded. If you close your school's account, contact us about any unused balance.
5.When you receive the refund
We start approved refunds within 7 working days of the cancellation request. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay, and banks usually credit them within 5–7 working days after that.
6.Duplicate or failed payments
If you were charged twice, or money left your account but the payment did not complete, write to support@schoolagam.in with the payment reference and we will refund the extra amount in full.
7.Service delivery
Schoolagam is an online service. Paid plans and add-ons are activated in your school's account as soon as payment succeeds; nothing is shipped physically.
